This fertilizes the grass with organic products and therefore reduces the need for conventional fertilizers. Lastly, our organic product contains 5 sources of Nutrient Enhancers. These help the soil to release the nutrients already present in the soil and helps the grass absorb nutrients present in the air. Aerating:
- Aerating is completed during mid-September. Aerating removes small plugs from the turf to loosen the turf to allow nutrients and water to more easily reach the roots of the grass. It also helps the roots grow deeper into the soil. This creates a healthy lawn that is more resistant to heat and drought.
Fall Clean-up:
- The fall clean-up service includes bagging and removing all leaves and debris from turf and non-turf areas on your property and hauling it away. Removing the leaves and debris from your lawn helps prevent mold and other diseases from developing in your lawn. This service is completed in late-October thru mid-November.
- Second option for fall cleanup is to mulch all the leaves and leave them on the lawn. The leaves have many nutrients that help feed the lawn. This option is less expensive. .
Irrigation Shut-down
- Irrigation systems need to be blown out in the fall to prevent the pipes from freezing and then bursting during the winter months. We are also able to start-up your irrigation in the spring, this includes turning the system back on and adjusting the sprinkler heads. During the summer sprinklers heads often times need adjustment to ensure they are aimed properly. We will verify the entire system is working properly by adjusting any sprinkler heads and repairing/replacing any broken sprinkler heads.
Shrub and Bush Trimming:
- Trimming shrubs and bushes at least one a year during non-blooming periods is vital to keeping it healthy and the size under control. We will trim the shrubs/bushes to the appropriate size and haul all debris off site.
Overseeding:
- If you lawn is looking thin we can overseed your lawn. Overseeding is the process of adding grass seed to existing turf and helps create a more dense and thick lawn. The best time for overseeding is spring or fall when temperatures are more moderate.
Power Edging:
- This service removes any grass overgrown onto sidewalks, driveways, and curbs. This gives your home a neat and clean appearance. All debris will be hauled off site. One time service or maintenance schedules are available.
